Lenessa Keehn

Lenessa Keehn is a 20+ year education veteran. She has expertise in Career and Technical Education (CTE) where she conducted research on workforce development, analyzed career trends, and taught to the industry standard necessary for students to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be better prepared for decision making and life after high school.

 

She spent the better part of her education tenure as the CTE coordinator for the local school district in which she taught, working with other teachers and schools in her consortium to plan, organize, and meet the local needs goals while staying within the parameters of federal grant guidelines. She has been a partner within her community and beyond, having created hands-on learning environments for students while offering solutions to the workforce needs of various industries.

 

She is currently serving as the Executive Director for her state Association for Career and Technical Education where she works with educators, administrators, and business & industry partners.

 

Lenessa Keehn stays connected in her community thru local fraternity & organizational memberships, and volunteering. She is a varsity level Track and Field Coach in her local school district where she continues to stay young while working with high school athletes.
